WHY DON’T YOU...
RECYCLE?
If you are already using the various recycling
services, then your black bags/bin waste has
already been greatly reduced. Only 10% of your
overall waste is actually put into your black
bags/bins – removing the need for them to be
collected every week or the need for you to
produce any side waste.
If you are recycling in accordance with this guidance,
there should be no need to produce any side waste. Side waste could in
the future be classed as littering.
If you are not currently recycling, then it’s time to change and join your
neighbours and friends and make a difference for future generations. Help
and information on how to recycle is contained in this guide.
The Council also offers a Bulky Goods Collection Service. There is
charged of £10 for three items and can be pre-booked online, by phone
or via One4All Centres.
