STREET CARE ENFORCEMENT
AND AWARENESS TEAM
The Council’s dedicated Streetcare Enforcement and
Awareness officers work with schools and residents across the
County Borough raising awareness on environmental issues
such as litter, dog fouling, flyposting, flytipping, graffiti and
cigarette butts.
The dedicated group regularly patrol the streets and have the power to
issue a £75 fine to anyone found committing an environmental crime. This
can include fining residents who leave bins and bags out on the highways
on non-collection days.
This is to ensure that Rhondda Cynon Taf will be a cleaner, greener and
safer community for everyone to live in, work in and visit.
INCLEMENT WEATHER
Any changes to collections as a result of inclement weather will be
published on the Council’s website and on the Council’s Twitter account.
CHRISTMAS AND BANK HOLIDAYS
On a Bank Holiday there is no change to your collection; it is the same
day as normal. The Christmas period could be subject to change but this
will be advertised in the Council’s Outlook Newspaper, Council’s website,
and the Council’s Twitter account.
