People’sForum…
Fifty Plus Forums for Older People are an Independent
Group of people aged 50+ who meet to discuss issues
that affect the lives of older people across Rhondda
Cynon Taf. There is no charge to join or attend the
meetings, you can even have transport costs to and
from meetings reimbursed. Refreshments are always
provided and the meetings promise to deliver
interesting and exciting debate about a wide range of
issues.
By joining your local Forum you have the choice of
attending the meetings or you may want to be kept
informed by post.
If you have something you want to say and would like
the support of other people in your area, please do
not hesitate to join.

Prep for outings
When attempting a new
activity or outing, eg horseriding,
theme park etc, prepare in advance
by showing pictures, books, leaflets &
talking about it.We have found
YouTube invaluable as most venues &
activities are in video form. Also many
attractions have apps you can use.
