You’ll never be short of things to do and
see on your visit to Rhondda Cynon Taf. We
know how to put on a show - and there are
great events to suit all tastes and ages all
year round.
Popular annual summer events for all ages
include popular food and agricultural
festival the Big Welsh Bite - held in
Ynysangharad War Memorial Park,
Pontypridd - and the free family fun day the
Aberdare Festival, held in Aberdare Park.
Our events calendar is topped off every
year with the Nos Galan Road Races,
which attract thousands of people to the
town of Mountain Ash.
The Races are held every New Year’s Eve in
memory of legendary Welsh runner Guto
Nyth Bran and hundreds of athletes of all
ages and abilities travel from far and wide
to take part.
