Founded in 1883, the world-famous
Treorchy Male Choir has performed
for Queen Victoria and Queen
Elizabeth II whilst also undertaking
triumphant tours of America,
Canada, Europe, Australia and New
Zealand.
With an outstanding competition
record and appearances on more
than 90 albums, the Choir has
performed alongside Sir Tom Jones,
Dame Shirley Bassey, Julie Andrews
and Ella Fitzgerald to name but
a few.
Choristers will always ensure the
warmest of welcomes in the hillside!

Rhondda Cynon Taf is a great place
to get creative! The county borough
provides a scenic, affordable home
for Creatives, combining urban and
rural landscape with easy access to
the capital and beyond.
Many creative types are based here -
from renowned artist makers to
emerging artisans, and a network is
growing to support and promote
them and their bases as tourist
destinations.
Explore The Model House in
Llantrisant, which houses a gallery
and two floors of studios. Visit small
workshop/galleries like Lemon Blues
in Pentre, which showcases new local
makers and runs a craft club. Stop
off on the Taff Trail at Umber and
Sienna Art Cafe, Taffs Well, or call in
to Giles Gallery in Pontyclun.
Open Studios events in September
invite locals and visitors to explore,
learn, participate or buy.
No visit to Rhondda Cynon Taf
would be complete without spending
time in the wonderful World of
Grogg in Treforest, which produces
the world-famous ceramics that have
immortalised Welsh sporting
legends, entertainment heroes and
national icons.
