Carers Rights Day and Carers
Week
is a day in December and a
week in June respectively, when
events are run across the UK to raise
awareness of the needs of Carers and
to inform those who are unaware of
the services and benefits to which
they are entitled.

Carers Trust
(formed by the merger
of Crossroads Care and the Princess
Royal Trust for Carers) provides
practical support to Carers through
the provision of trained care support
workers who can provide respite for
the carer and a network of
independently managed Carers
centres and young Carers services.
