Meals on Wheels
It is proposed that the 7 day service is
retained but the weekend service is
converted to a chilled meal provision.
Meals would still be prime cooked
but would be sealed and chilled and
delivered on a Friday for heating by
clients in their own homes for weekend
consumption. There would still be a
menu option for weekends.
Saving £0.3m per year

Library Service
It is proposed that the provision of
Branch Libraries be reduced from
26 to 12, which would include 4 in
each of the Rhondda, Cynon and Taff
Ely areas of the County Borough.
The existing level of the mobile library
service would be enhanced and the
housebound service and school library
service would be maintained.

4 llyfrgell yng Nghwm Rhondda, Cwm

yn cael ei wella a byddai'r gwasanaeth
ar gyfer y rheiny sy'n gaeth i'w cartref
a gwasanaeth y llyfrgelloedd i ysgolion
yn cael eu cynnal ar eu lefelau
presennol.
