Land purchased for the erection of a ‘New Welfare Hall’ at a cost of £1,376. 9s. (A further £52. 0s 10d was spent to purchase two small cottages that stood on the proposed site.

Theatre purchased by Cynon Valley Borough Council.

Theatre re-opened after major refurbishments.

Extension to front and side of Theatre to accomodate bar and gallery space and increase size of foyer and box office.
